“A Person Doing a Mitzvah Is Safe”

If a guy that is sent to do a mitzvah then why r soldiers dying in isreal idk it make no sense

  1. It’s a very painful question and one that our Sages also ask. They answer: while it is true that someone doing a Mitzvah is normally granted some kind of Divine protection, when it comes to very dangerous situations, this is not always applicable. Unfortunately, in Jewish history, it has been proved to be so, over and over again.

    There is, however, a certain comfort. As believing Jews, we believe that the real reward is not in this world, but rather in the World to Come. While the loss of each and every soldier – and everyone else – is an unfathomable tragedy, those who lost their lives are receiving immeasurable reward in the World to Come for the sacrifices that they made in trying to keep the rest of us safe.
