Where is it taught not to interrupt another person who is speaking?

  1. In Pirkei Avot (5:7) – Ethics of Our Fathers – we are taught that a wise person does not interrupt another person who is speaking. It also states there that a person who interrupts another person is considered a “golem” – meaning a physical entity whose “higher form” has not yet been defined and refined.
