Days When Weddings Can Be Held

Can a Jewish wedding be held at any time of day or day of the week, so long as it is not Shabbat?

  1. There are many days during the year that weddings cannot be held. For example, on a Yom Tov, during the Three Weeks or during Sefirat HaOmer. However, during the times that weddings are permitted, any day of the week (excluding Shabbat) is allowed, including Erev Shabbat.
