Question
Hi Rabbi, according to Judaism may I now affix on my doorpost a mezuzah that was once on the home of my deceased parents? Thanks.

Question
Can I affix the mezuzah of a dead parent to my doorpost?

Question
My mezuzah scroll came to me unrolled, in a vacuum-sealed plastic. My question is, can I roll up the mezuzah while inside the protective plastic... Or must I take it out of the plastic, roll it, and then put the plastic back on?

Question
Dear Rabbi, I am making a needlepoint cover case for a mezuzah and there are two inserts available. One is hand-written, the other one is reproduced. Is there a religious difference, or just a price difference? Thanks.

Question
Can you explain the significance of having a mezuzah on your house and its power to guard the household, as opposed to it being just a superstitious belief? Thank you!

Question
I’ve seen people kiss the mezuzah when leaving or entering their home. My question is: Why? Btw, I really enjoy the questions and answers you post in your weekly Shabbat Shalom newsletter. Thanks!
