“Unclean” Person and Kosher Food

Hello, If an unclean person slaughters a kosher animal, will the meat become unkosher?

  1. No, it will not become unkosher. Allow me to elaborate a bit:

I am not sure what you mean by an “unclean person.” I assume you refer to a person who has a status of “tamei”- ritual impurity, as is defined in the Torah.

Today there are no real ways of removing such a status of spiritual uncleanliness due to the fact that we do not have the Temple.

And, to answer your question, although everyone is presumed to have this status nowadays, a Jew who is an expert in the Laws of Slaughtering may slaughter an animal and its meat is Kosher is slaughtered and processed properly.
