According to Judaism, the Messiah will be a human prophet and the king of the Jewish nation. The Messiah will be universally recognized as God’s ambassador in this world and he will herald in an era of world peace. There will also be universal recognition that the Jewish People are the Chosen Nation. And it will be evident to all that we have a unique relationship with God. As of right now, unfortunately, this is not the case.
