However, the authorities say that one should be careful to mark clearly that it is not Kosher in order to make sure it is not eaten inadvertently. However, there is a prohibition against buying food that contains meat and milk that were cooked together, and against keeping it in one’s home, even if it is only in order to give it later to a non-Jew to eat.
