Non-KFP Foods During Pesach

Question

Is there any Jewish law prohibiting the purchase of processed foods on Chol Hamoed Pesach that are free of Chametz, but not certified KFP, when the intention is to use them after Pesach?

    Personally I am not sure how it is possible to know with absolute certainty that there is no chametz in the products. There may be no actual chametz but there is no way of knowing if they were manufactured in machinery that also uses chametz. Subsequently, I think that one should not buy such products until after Pesach.
