Forgotten Machtzis HaShekel

Question

I forgot to perform the Mitzvah erev Purim of Machtzis Hashekel, can I still do it today? Is there any form or way to perform it now in Nissan?

    According to Rav Chaim Kanievsky, bedieved, one can perform Machatzis Hashekel after Adar. Similarly, Rabbi Yisrael Pesach Feinhandler rules, Avnei Yashfei, writes that bedieved, if one forgot to perform the Machatzis Hashekel, one can do so for twelve months until the following Nissan.
