Driving on Pesach

Question

A family member is traveling to our home, and will arrive on Pesach, I just found out and he can’t change travel plans. Can I drive to pick him up when he arrives?

    Once Pesach begins, it is forbidden to drive on Yom Tov, just as it is forbidden to drive on Shabbos. This means that a Jew cannot go to pick up your relative on Pesach.
