The broken glass at a wedding ceremony as it pertains to the destruction of the Temple. Is the fact that a Jew breaks it, a way to take ownership for the destruction of the Temple?

    No, not really. The breaking of a glass is incorporated into the Jewish religious ceremony to remind us, right in the middle of such a happy moment, that the Temple has not yet been rebuilt. The glass reminds us that without the Temple we do not really appreciate what true joy is.
