Bikur Cholim for Self-Injury

In Halacha, is there a mitzvah of Bikur cholim to visit people who injured themselves, either by negligence or intentionally?

    I cannot think of one reason why not. The fact that they harmed themselves does not detract from the reality that they are now sick.
