My friend Wendy does not know her Hebrew name. Her parents are both deceased and she does not have family who can provide her with this information. She says that she is named after a relative whose Engllish name is William. What should she do to learn her Hebrew name ( or get a Hebrew name)? Thanks Karen POpowsky

Dear Rabbi, I came across two new age concepts that I'm not sure if they conflict with Jewish thought. 1. Intuition/Divine Intelligence. On the one hand I intuitively feel that there must be something to intuition, but do we go so far as to say that it is Divine signals and it knows everything that we need to know, even things that logically make no sense that we should know? Or do we say, that there is no Divinity or special powers, intuition is simply the subconscious computing all that it knows and giving us its best answer? 2. Manifestation. They claim that we attract what we think. If we are poor it is because we are thinking poor thoughts. If we want riches we just have to think thoughts of abundance. To quote one source, "Life mirrors our every thought...think glorious thoughts and you will have a glorious future"" On one hand there is definitely something to the idea that if you don't think you can be a success, the chances of being one are greatly diminishe

I am borrowing money for a couple of days. The person lending the money is taking it out of a line of credit. Obviously, there will be interest that will be charged to him for those days until the money is repaid. Can I repay him the loan amount plus the interest he has to pay? He is not charging me interest. I am merely paying back the principal and cost of the money. Thank you.
