Concerning senior citizens faced with a long walk to schul in inclement weather, e.g., hot summer days, cold winter days, rainy/snowy days or just not feeling up to the long walk (about 1 mile each way), is it better to stay home or ride to schul on Shabbos?

I just read most of the Holy Bible. What is Nazirite as mentioned in Numbers 6? Does it still exist, nowadays? Samson, Judges 13-16 is described as being Nazirite, also.
