Tarot Cards: Prohibited Art?

Question

I am an artist. One thing that is good for an artist in a primarily Christian country is making artwork for a tarot deck. I’m wondering if this is prohibited by Judaism, as I’m Jewish.

    I think that it is. According to Judaism, it is forbidden to use Tarot cards and the like to try and divine the future. So severe are the prohibitions against such things, that I think it would be forbidden to be involved in their creation in any way – including doing the artwork for them.

    Please accept my blessing that you are able to procure a generous livelihood without having to resort to painting tarot cards.
