Dear Rabbi,
How can I ask forgiveness from someone if they are unable to be found?

  1. Unfortunately, there is not much more that can be done under such circumstances. You have done everything that you can possibly do, and the fact that you cannot locate the person does not detract in any way from everything that you have done. Is it considered to be complete repentance if you have not been able to ask the person for forgiveness? No, it is not complete. But it is as complete as it can be right now.
