What is the hardest part about being a Rabbi?

  1. Personally, I do not find any one part harder than the other. I truly enjoy what I do. Having said that, I think that, perhaps, the most difficult part is having to listen to the troubles and the sorrows that people experience. That is not something that is particular to being a Rabbi, as I am sure that any empathetic person who likes to help others feels the same way.
