Question
Hello, I was raised catholic and have a couple of questions concerning the first book of the Torah that no catholic, christian, or jehovah witness could answer and I was hoping for some insight. 1 - Why does God refer to himself in the plural twice, and 2) who are the people Cain is afraid of finding him if at this point the text states there were only the four of them (Adam, Eve, Cain, & Abel)? thank you, Donald

Question
What is the meaning of the breaking of the plate, in a wedding and who does this ceremony? Is it necessary to have a Rabbi present? What are the blessings for that ceremony?

Question
If Adam had went straight to God after the apple incident, and told him what hppened and he was sorry and asked for forgiveness. What do you think might have happened? Was the apple thing a mistake that Adam began a series of sins in re-action to. Could the original sin be that after the apple Adam went from being " unclothed creation of God" to " naked ". That his looking upon creation with less than wonder and admiration was the start. After that he hide creation, feared God, lied, and etc. What if he kept his heart on loving God and not his own welfare. The Question is: Was the first sin done by a creation of God that did not know what he was doing or from his choices made in response to an uninformed act?

Question
Greetings Rabbi: Would a first century Rabbi have worked at a "secular" job to support himself, or would he more likely have been supported by his local synagogue? Thank you. Sincerely, Magus
