Question
what are the suggested requirememts for repenting when a physician performs a medical intervention which has a very harmful outcome and was a result of negligence? I have already aplogized to the patient and have been calling to let her know how much I care. I have informed my malpractice carrier. however the patient is in pain and suffering, no longer undeer my care, and will lose at least a month's work.

Question
What is the definition of "Jewishness" as it applies to persons? Is it some sort of hereditary entitlement, like British "nobility?" The American black performer Sammy Davis, Jr. converted to Judaism, but would he be considered "Jewish" as far as Israeli citizenship is concerned? And who decides in particular cases? I am basically most interested to find out what the true requirements are for Israeli citizenship. I have heard that "any Jew" is entitled to Israeli citizenship if he travels to Israel and claims it. So this process requires an answer to the questions, "Who is a Jew? and "How do you prove it?" Thank you, William McGinnis (Rev. Bill McGinnis) Alexandria, VA, USA.
