DearRabbi: What do you think of a Rabbi who encourages a couple to stay together even though he knows that the husband has been abusive during the 9 years of their marriage? I was born left handed and therefore have always worn my tefillin shel yad on my right arm. I now have a neurological problem which causes tremors in my left hand, so that at 48 years old (I am now 56) I found myself having to learn to write with my right hand. My question is on which arm should I wear my tefillin at this point? A few points that may be relevant. I still think of myself as left-handed. Secondly, the disturbance is in my brain, not directly in my arm. Finally, I believe that my left arm remains naturally stronger, but it is easier to exercise my right arm as the stabilization muscles in my left arm don't work well. Thanking you in advance, Avram
