In genesis, one part reads: "And it came to pass when Man began to increase upon the face of the ground and daughters were born to them, the sons of rulers saw that the daughters of man were good and they took themselves wives from whoever they chose." Going by the chapter:verse system, I am told that is chapter 6, verses 1 and 2. My question is in two parts: first and most importantly, who are the sons of man? Secondly, it says "took themselves wives". Does that mean the daughters of men did not wish to go with them? Thank you for your time and effort.
