are there traditional robes in the jewish tradition?

  1. Certain communities wear traditional robes for special occasions. For example, until today the Yemenite community wear robes that are the same style as were worn in Yemen. However, having said that, I am not sure that the robes worn by the various communities are particularly “Jewish.” I think that they are the robes that are traditionally worn in the various countries they originate form.
