Would it be possible for there to be prophets nowadays?

    According to Jewish theology there will not be any prophecy until the Messiah reveals his identity to the world. Judaism teaches that prophecy came to an end at the very beginning of the Second Temple period – approximately 2,500 years agno, and since then there has been no prophecy and no prophets.
