if a man has not had a Bar Mitzvah, and if his parents got married in a United synagogue, is he able to also get married in a united synagogue, (without having had a bar Mitvah), or would he be required to have a Bar Mitzvah first?

My Christian friend asked me in a very sincere way—Why do the Jews not practice the law of sacrifice any longer? Why do they not do animal sacrifices if the Law of Moses is still in tact and Jesus Christ was not the promised Messiah? How do I respond?
