Returning found objects is the first mitzva I teach my children. But how do I return something that I don't know who the owner is? As I was coming off an airplane, I found a set of gold earrings, still in gift wrapping, that someone dropped in the walkway. I wanted to turn it in to lost and found at the airport, but was unable to at the time due to time constraints. Now a whole month has gone by, I still have it, and by now for sure no one will check at lost/found. Strangely enough, since I have this lost object I myself have been feeling "lost",
