Question
Below is an article from a South African online newspaper, which I am a prolific contributor for. I am the lone Jewish voice in an overwhelingly vitriolic pool of anti-Israel bias. I need the Jewish community to stand beside me and respond to wave after wave of anti-semitic sentiment. The email address of the website is www.reporter.co.za and the contact address of editors (who allow this vile publication) is info@reporter.co.za I know we cannot fight the goyim in the media, but I have been standing firm for years against them, but I am asking for help from the Yid community. Please forward this to all your members to help me to change the tone of anti-Jewish rhetoric being propagated. Thank You Brett Chatz +27 720448462 Yes, I’m an imbecile and an anti-Semite By Riaan Smit Speaking the unspeakable If you dare criticise Israel in the letter columns of daily newspapers in South Africa for its wanton destruction of South Beirut and Lebanese infrastructure, you are labelled an imbecile for not “understanding” Israel’s plight and an anti-Semite. Well, then I am an imbecile and an anti-Semite and an anti-Jew or whatever you want to stick on me. I am just sick and tired of the holier-than-thou attitude of Israel and its supporters, while innocent people - including their own - pay with their lives. And I am sick and tired that Israel largely get away with it in the Western World’s mass media. CNN last night (24 July 2006) reported that the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) are continuing with its “precision strikes” in Southern Lebanon. My television screen last week – courtesy of the BBC’s Jeremy Bowen – showed me unthinkable destruction in Southern Beirut. There is nothing “precise” about apartment block after apartment block in ruins. There must have been Hezbollah fighters and rockets in almost every apartment block. No, it is collective punishment of the kind the IDF has perfected in Gaza and the West Bank with its bulldozing of buildings, houses and olive trees, supposedly belonging to "terrorists". Ex-Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s bleating that any other country would have done the same if it was attacked by “terrorist” rockets, was echoed in the letters column of the Cape Times by a reader suggesting that South Africa would have attacked any of its neighbours if rockets had been fired from its territories onto South African cities. So there you have it. Only one slight detail omitted – South Africa is not occupying any land belonging to its neighbours. Israel is an occupying force on the Golan Heights (belonging to Syria) and a colonial force in the West Bank for the last 40 years, where it has built over a hundred settlements on land belonging to the Palestinians. And yet, we are expected to unquestioningly share Israel’s indignation and outrage when it is attacked with rockets and suicide bombers by the “terrorist organisations”, Hamas and Hezbollah. Syria and Iran – “the terrorist states” – are heaped with opprobrium for supplying weapons to Hamas and Hezbollah. Nobody is criticizing the USA or Britain for supplying “precision” weapons to Israel which have killed hundreds of Lebanese citizens. The majority of ordinary people in the Middle East are certainly not seeing Hamas or Hezbollah as “terrorists”. The majority of Palestinians did not democratically elect a “terrorists government”, Hamas. But the prize for the hypocrisy of hypocrisies surely must go to US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who arrived in Lebanon Monday – two weeks after Israel started bombing Lebanon. According to the BBC’s website Monday (24 July 2006) she wants to put together a package which could involve a new Security Council Resolution, insisting on the implementation of an earlier resolution, 1559, from September 2004. That called for the disbanding of Hezbollah as a militia and the extension of Lebanese government control to the border with Israel. A key element in the resolution might be the formation of a new and more po

Question
I read your reply about reincarnation, saying that it was part of the oral tradition, which during the time of Jesus would mean that it was kept secret from the Jewish masses. I believe that is correct, but of course today those secrets are open to all, which I believe occured in Spain around the 13th century, or around there by the famous Rabbi something like Romban. ( Writing you Jewish people is alway strange, I pick up odd feelings. I was a Jew in at least two past lives, and so that must be why I pick up such a connection.) Anyway, I was hoping you might verify what I said concerning keeping such oral knowledge away from those common Jews who were not instructed such as a priest. I am working on my web site, and this information would be helpful. I would include it in my site. If you have time look at my site. http://home.earthlink.net/~donutnous/ Please forgive my tirade against the Jews, if you should read my site. I do it so you might reconsider certain ideas. It is for your benefit. Recall I was one, and so I am guilty of certain sins too.
