Honorable Rabbi: Please tell me if it is OK as human beings to accept raeasoning and justifications for the killing of so many Lebanese children. Whatever the reason is, People are outraged by the Israeli government actions in Lebanon, So where is the dignity, morality, and the Honesty of the Israeli leaders? Does it matter to have any of this?

I just received some family heirlooms. One is a tefillin and bag. I am trying to determine what the inscriptions on them say. The tefillin bag has the symbols that stand for: Nun - Yod - Lamed - Pe - Tav The two boxes have these symbols: (1) Resh - Shin (2) Yod - Shin There is a larger bag as well, it has gold fringes on the bottom and held two prayer shawls. The bag is embroidered (on the inside of the Star of David): Tav - Yod - Lamed - Tet Could you help me decipher what all this means? Thank you very much, Pat S.
