why did david sleep with batsheva? wouldnt he know not to do something liek that???!!!! im not as holy as david but even i would know not to do that!

i know that rosh hashana and yom kipper are very holy and spiritual. i also know that having a physical relationship with your spuse is very holy. so are you allowed to have a sexual relationship with your spouse on these holidays or other holidays?

i have a close friend who doesnt belive in god. although he is jewish and now 25 he has never had a bar mizvah and nor has he placed tefilin on. yom kippur is on its way and he refuses to observe it i wish i had something to help change his mind about everything. please help me. Lauren
