Torn Temple Veil

Question

In the Christians New Testament there are claims that the Temple veil was torn in two when Jesus died.

If such an event would have happened, why is there no record of it?

    In Judaism the claims made in the Christian bible are of little importance and they are not studied or investigated as they have no intrinsic impact whatsoever on Jewish theology. According to Jewish belief the only time that the veil in the Temple was cut was when the Roman Emperor, Titus, entered the Holy of Holies just prior to its destruction.
