The Hills in the Psalm

Question

I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help (Psalm 121). In that line King David says “I will lift up my eyes unto the hills.” Now my question is, why did he lift his eyes unto hills?

    The commentaries explain that the King David looked to the mountains because he was looking for friendly forces that might be coming to save the beleaguered Jewish People.
