“Yoni Cohani”

Question

Dear Rabbi,

This is a secular question. In my Polish-Jewish neighborhood, the old timers used to say “Yoni-Cohani” when excited. Can you tell me what this means? Thank you.

    I apologize, but I have never heard that phrase before. I asked some acquaintances who come from a Polish background if they were familiar with it, and not one of them had heard of it either! If I learn something more about this, I will try to remember to get back to you.
