Transcribing the Torah

Question

I want to write down the Torah for a deeper understanding about the Torah text. The original Torah is written in Hebrew. Is it OK for a Noahide to write down the Torah text in Hebrew? How about in English or in Korean? Is it permissible?

    Yes, it is fine. The Torah can be written down by a Noachide. It can be written in the original Hebrew or it can be written down in another language. But to have the holiness of a actual “Torah Scroll” it must be written according to the Halacha – the code of the laws of Judaism.
