Stove Burner for Havdalah

Does a gas stove burner that emits a flame satisfy the requirement for a havdalah candle?

    The light that is lit for Havdalah must be comprised of at least two separate flames that are joined together. That means that a stove-top flame alone will not suffice. What one can do is light the stove-top and hold a match next to the flame when the Bracha is recited.
