During the Pesach in ancient Israel, did the family remain in the home during the night of the Passover or were you allowed to go out and do things after the Passover meal?

Answers

  1. The night of Passover was a time for everyone to gather in their homes and sing praises to God for everything that He has done for the Jewish nation. In Temple times, people would leave their homes to go up on to the rooftops to eat the Paschal Lamb. After eating, they would sleep for the few remaining hours until dawn, or stay up and continue singing songs of praise and recounting the significance of the “Festival of Freedom.”
