Shabbos: High Chair Trays

Shalom aleichem Rabbi Lauffer. Thank you for answering my last question. The infant’s high chair has a removable tray that snaps in and can be removed. Can this be done on Shabbos? thanks a lot.

    If the tray can be put in and taken out easily then there is no problem with doing so on Shabbos. If the tray is designed to fit permanently in the chair and only to be taken out on rare occasions it would be forbidden to do so on Shabbos.
