Non-Jewish Parents at Wedding

Question

At a wedding, can a bride who has had an Orthodox conversion, have her Gentile parents stand under the Chuppah and hand her the wine to drink and generally take part in the ceremony such as walking her down the aisle etc? Thanking you

  1. As this is obviously an issue that needs to be dealt with in a very sensitive fashion I would recommend that the couple getting married speak with the Rabbi who will be officiating at the wedding to see what he suggests as, in general, non-Jewish parents are not really involved in the active parts of the wedding.
