Kashrut

Question

Hi,

Ive had a very hectic few days so have made a few errors. I accidentally forgot to turn my oven over from meat to milk. I was cooking a meat pie and a sweet potato, I took out the meatpie and left the sweet potato in for another hour on a higher heat of over 200 degrees.
I then the next day cooked a Mac and cheese (forgetting to turn it over). Is the dish that I cooked the Mac and cheese on not kosher anymore? Also the plates and cutlery we served the Mac and cheese on would that also not be kosher too?

Please let me know asap

Many thanks in advance
Naomi

  1. If the oven was clean and twenty-four hours passed from the time that you took out the sweet potato until you put in the “mac and cheese” then there is nothing to be concerned about – both the “mac and cheese” and the plates and silverware are fine. If less than twenty-four passed then the “mac and cheese” should not be eaten but the plates and the silverware are fine.
