Jewish Mother’s Day

Question

Dear Rabbi,

Is there a Mother’s Day in the Jewish religion? I know that this Sunday (May 8, 2022) will be Mother’s Day in the United States and I wonder if Judaism has something similar.

Thanks

  1. There sure is! It’s called “Honor Thy Father and Mother” Day. It begins on the first day of the year and continues through every day of the entire year. But do not worry, traditionally it does not last more than 120 years for any particular individual.
