Question

How long did Hashem mourn for Moses? And where in Torah can I locate that? Thank you.

  1. The Midrash, Devarim Rabbah 11, relates that when Moshe passed away, the Heavens wept and proclaimed: “The pious man has perished from the earth” – Micha 7:2. The Yalkut Shimoni, Parshat Vayelech, states that Hashem told Yehoshua that He [Hashem] was mourning the loss of Moshe because there was no one like Moshe who was able to rebuke the Jewish Nation for Hashem’s sake like Moshe.

However, I could not find any source that says for how long Hashem mourned the passing of Moshe.
