Hair Length

Dear, Rabbi Shalom. Is it a requirement that Jewish women in today’s world to have long hair? And dose it have to be a certian color? And what color? And if a Jewish woman hsa short hair can she still wear a sznood?

  1. There are absolutely no requirements whatsoever. Many married ladies prefer to have their hair shorter rather than longer simply because it is more convinient as a married woman’s hair needs to be covered. Just as there are no hair-length restrictions so, too, there are no hair-color restrictions either.
