End of Prophecy

Question

I have a question. There´s this claim of prophecy by the a certain person I read about who lived in the 1900s in India. What is Judaism’s stance on prophecy during this period, and also about prophecy nowadays for that matter?

    Judaism teaches that all prophecy came to an end at the very beginning of the Second Temple period approximately two thousand five hundred years ago. According to Jewish belief, from that time on there will be no prophecy until the Messianic Era.
