“Daughters of Jerusalem” in Song of Songs

Question

‘I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, what will ye tell him? That I am love-sick.” (Shir Hashirim 5:8).

My question is: Who are the “daughters of Jerusalem?”
Is there any mystical interpretation of this verse?

    The Rabbis explain that the “Daughters of Jerusalem” refers to the the nations of the world who are destined to ascend to Jerusalem (see also 2:7 and 3:5). This particular verse is addressed to Nebuchadnezzar and his armies.
