Is the Aramaic language used in any portion of the Torah?

  1. There are just two words that are Aramaic in the Five Books of Moses. They are “Yegar Sahaduta,” which means “the mound is a witness,” and it was called that by Lavan – see Genesis 31:47. However, there are large parts of the Book of Daniel that are also written in Aramaic.
