Question
Hi Rabbi, I have an RS homework question that I am stuck on and feel I need help answering from a moral, spiritual and religious point of view. I am hoping that you can please help me. The qustion is about abortion: When does life begin? Thank you.

Question
So, I'm a convert to Judaism. I converted 7 years ago. I started working part time at a salvation army thrift store (I also work with the school district with Autistic Children). I really needed more more to survive. So this year I took off for Rosh Hashanah ....but they scheduled a "manatory" meeting on that day. I did not show up since I had taken the day off. No one said anything about it, but they put on the schedule that I would have to work on Friday to make it up. So there was no school on Friday...I said "great". They offered the evening or morning shift. I reminded the manager that I don't work Shabbot. So I get a call reminding me to come into work on Friday evening. I reminded the manager that I took the morning shift. She became angry and said "I knew this would happen". There is no one else who can work for you...so you will come in?" So I told her I would not come in but would turn in a two week notice. She called me about 30 minutes later and said "We can't afford to lose you...you're a good cashier so I just got someone to cover your shift Friday." I feel like she views my beliefs as invalid. She always telling me she will pray for me...but in a kind way. And now I'm considering still giving notice. What do you think???

Question
Dear Rabbi! First, I want to send you all best wishes for the New 5780. year! In past Holy days I realized that after 7 years of learning how to be a Jew, building my life on 613 commandments and Jewish laws, I have to make it official. Just to let you know, I am circumcised and I chose my Hebrew name. But, I can't practice Jewish traditions because, no one, except my family, sees me as a Jew. I need to know: What to do now? There is no Rabbi near me. All I know, I know by reading so many books about Jewish life and Jewish traditions. I want to serve Him as best as I can, so I need help. Thank you! With all due respect, (Name withheld by AsktheRabbi.org for privacy)

Question
"The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom." (Deuteronomy 28:13). What does "the head" means?

Question
Shalom I am sure you have been asked this question time and time again. I am hoping to receive the answer I am looking for. My grandmother met a Jewish man. My grandmother then converted to Judaism prior to getting married. My mother was then conceived and born. She went to Hebrew school and practiced Jewish traditions. I am looking for G-d. I have been reading about Judaism and would like to know. Am I Jewish? Would I be accepted by the Jewish community if my grandmother was a convert? Thank you for your time.

Question
"And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt." (Shemot 7:3). I read the verse tonight and suddenly a question come to mind: If Hashem hardened Pharaoh's mind, does he always hardened the minds of other wicked people who are like Pharaoh?

Question
I've had a reoccurring dream since I was a child. It's always of a stranger trying to kidnap me and it's usually nighttime when it happens. In the dream I suspect they're after me and I start to run away and they start running after me. I always wake up before they can get me. Can you possibly tell me what my dream means? There have been a couple of times where they kidnap my little sister and I'm trying to save her, but I wake up before I can get her back. However, I think that comes from my natural instinct to protect my little sister. Anyway, most of the time it's me in the dream. Please help me.

Question
Will the promised Messiah eradicate all kinds of wicked people from the world when he comes?
