Question
If you do reject your bashert. Obviously there is a reason you rejected why are you held accountable that you may not find another one. Aren't women able to reject their Bashert as well?

Question
My question relates to the paradox of free will and divine providence, and I'm really struggling with it in my life, and desperately seeking an answer that can adequately philosophically provide me with a resolution. Why take action towards any particular endeavour if whatever any outcome turns out to be in actuality is completely and thoroughly without question the best of all fathomable possibilities, regardless of the inaction or action taken?

Question
Dear Rabbi, When I learn Tanach, more specifically Navi, I notice a that common and reoccurring theme is that the Jews will betray Gd, usually by avoda zara (idolatry) or lack of Tzedaka and Mishpat (charity and justice-keeping), and then a Navi will tell them over the message from Gd that they have to do Teshuvah or they will be destroyed, and it’s up to them to listen. I’ve always been curious, how is it that Jews back then can stop obeying Gd and turn to idol worship, when back then, Gd performed more obvious miracles, so they knew He exists? It can’t be that they deny Gd’s existence, when it’s so much more obvious that He’s there. How were they not afraid or ashamed of turning away from Him? Thank you

Question
If God knows everything, how do we have free will to choose, if he knows what I'm going to do before I even do it?

Question
How can God have control over the world if we have choice? I can choose to kill myself and God won’t make a miracle to stop it, therefore I have control. And He doesn’t. How is that?

Question
Judaism teaches that the greater the person, the greater yetzer hara. However I think that my yetzer hara is small. Do I have to pray to HaShem to make my evil inclination big to be a great Tzaddik? Are there any Jewish sages who became great, even though they had a small yetzer hara?

Question
On Yoma 67b, there is a mention of angels (Uzza and Azael) who sinned with the daughters of man. I thought angels did not have free will. If they do not have free will, how can the go against Hashem's wishes by sinning?

Question
Hi Rabbi, is it a sin to be "too nosy"? If so, what’s the sin’s name? I have a bad habit of being nosy. I think that if I could give my nosiness the name of some sin, I could hopefully stop it. Thanks!

Question
"And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt." (Shemot 7:3). I read the verse tonight and suddenly a question come to mind: If Hashem hardened Pharaoh's mind, does he always hardened the minds of other wicked people who are like Pharaoh?

Question
Is there a belief in predestination in Judaism, i.e. was Joseph predestined to go Egypt? A related question would then be did God arrange all the events of Joseph’s life or did God just take advantage of events that took place?
