Question
Shalom! I pet sit for days at a time, which can extens into and beyond Shabbat. I get paid before/after the jobs and don't break Shabbat when I am there taking care of the pet (mostly feeding while I stay stationed in the house). I dont travel to/from the house on Shabbat ever and always have it arranged so that that doesnt happen. I've read that it is halachically permissible to baby sit, or house sit, etc., on Shabbat as long as payment is received before/after Shabbat and that no melachot are broken. So pet sitting would be in line with this, yes? Thank you so much

Question
In Halacha, Jews are forbidden from having animals do prohibited melachot on Shabbat. My question is, is there any issur of Lifnei iver with animals, or no, since animals don’t have the same free will humans do? As an example, putting an electronic color on a dog, which the dog could activate on Shabbat, before Shabbat would be setting the animal up to cause melacha on Shabbat, so would it be Lifnei iver?

Question
Did the Old Testament's sacrificial lamb have to be white or could it be a black or brown lamb? Please note the Book and verse. Thank you.
