Question
If it is possible to sum up in some sort of brevity this question, what is the biggest reason or two that Orthodox Jews do not accept Jesus as the Messiah? I know you may have gotten this question before, and I know it can be a very sensitive subject, depending on maturity and patience levels. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Question
I have one more question, for now...during the days of the patriarchs, we see that tithes and offerings were often in the form of animals and not actual money. We also see that there was more than one common, ongoing "tithe". Can you explain please the other required tithes, please? For instance, I see in Deuteronomy a tithe set aside once every three years for strangers, orphans and widows. I perceive that this may be a second tithe in addition to the regular ongoing tithe during that year. Thank you for your help!

Question
Can you explain to me the origin and meaning of the Star of David? Who invented it and when? What does it symbolize? When did it come to be a symbol of Judaism? Thank you!

Question
Dear Rabbi, I am recently finding it more and more difficult to abstain from masterbation. I am 20 and have never done it before but recently got involved in a relationship where, although pre marital sex was avoided, certain things that I wouldnt have done previously were done. Since then, in a way, I have found out what Im missing out on. I am a shomer shabbat modern orthodox jew and I keep kosher. Due to University, I have no intention to get married for at least two years and am therefore finding it difficult to tell myself it is a 'waste' of seed. My seed is not being used and is far more likely to be emitted whilst I sleep or being broken down by my body. I am worried that very soon my desire will overcome my will power but think if I can find out exactly why it is forbidden I will be able to stop myself. I am sorry if you have answered similar questions in the past - but I couldnt find any answers that truly applied to me. Also, due to where I grew up there is noone I would call 'my rabbi' and therefore I do not have someone who knows me to answer this dilema in a personal way. Thank you in advance and Shavua Tov, Rob
