Question
Over Tishah B'av, I read about the murder of the Novi, Zecharia on Yom Kippur in the Kodesh Hakadashim. I have also heard of the cprinciple of Yeridas Hadoros. However I have a hard time believing tthat if say, Reb Elyashiv, were to get up and rail about how bad we are, that we would do anything even remotely resembling- and for sure not on Yom Kippur- and doubly sure not at say, the Kosel. Isn't that an improvement, or am I missing something? (I have the same question regarding  the Eigel Hazahav, the acts of Yeravam Ben Nevat and anything else that is similar to that) Thanks!

Question
If we don't believe in the ice age, how the glaciers that tower above sea level come to be?

Question
1) What are the mourning obligations of a step-daughter for a deceased step-father? 2) What are the mourning obligations of the husband of the step-daughter? 3) There being no one in the family who will observe ANY halacha or ANY of the Orthodox practices in this situation, what would you suggest halachically and hashkafically for the step-daughter and her husband to do at the funeral, during shiva, shloshim, etc.?
