If a person is judged on Yom Kippur and all of their sins are forgiven, what is a person judged for after they die?

It's a great question! Rabbi Aharon Kotler asks the same question and gives an astonishing answer! He writes that a person is judged for what the person achieved throughout their entire life. The Rabbis teach that there is one more time that a person is judged and that is before the resurrection of the dead. Rav Kotler says that the last judgement is for the impact that the person left behind in this world.
