Seven Pillars of Wisdom

Question:

What are the seven pillars of wisdom? (Proverbs 9:1) Thanks.

AskTheRabbi.org answered:

Rashi, the foremost commentary on the Bible, explains that the seven pillars are a reference to the seven days of the creation. The beginning of the creation was a time of complete potential that slowly becomes realized day by day until the creation is complete.

The home is also a place of tremendous potential that must be realized with great wisdom.
